Amazing Coffee

I think it is important for couples to get out of the house on their days off and just wonder. Or you can actually make a plan if you need to. But anyway, Robbie and I went on an adventure yesterday. our first stop was this really cute restaurant that my mom and I stopped in while she was out here visiting. W e were actually driving up to North Shore, but I'm telling you those burgers are amazing! I might have to compare them to In'N'Out burgers. But theses were nice fresh off the grill thick juicy patties. I had gotten a Hawaiian burger (go figure) and Rob got a Cajun shrimp burger( your probably thinking "wtf?") haha. But both were so amazing and full of flavor! Robs burger, well it didn't have a patty. Of course it didn't need one with all the shrimp on it! It also had the regular works, tomatoes, onions, lettuce, etc.. But it was actually really good! My burger was smothered in sweet teriyaki sauce with grilled onions an pineapples! MMM so good! It seems every bite had this wonderful burst of flavor. The fries weren't much to show for, I think they may just use the "Big Bag'O'Fries" from the supermarket. But the burgers definitely made up for it! And so our journey continues to North Shore!

I love North Shore! There are so many cool beaches with crazy waves, especially this time of year. They are great for surfing (Ha! as if I knew how!). But there are also tons of " hole in the wall" type places. For example, there was this Shaved Ice place in Haleiwa North Shore and it apparently has the best in town. That line was ridiculously long. Had it not been so long I would have stopped and got some. We ended up driving through the town and ended up driving down a super narrow road, this was the main road for all the people living there...right on the beach!! We finally found a place to park and a path to go check out the beach, this place had to have been on of Hawaii's best kept secrets. That sand was so wonderful between my toes, and it was such a pretty golden color! The water was different shades of blue which was absolutely beautiful. And thinking about this place now I wanna kick myself in the ass for not bringing my camera!

We didn't stay too long, it was getting pretty late so we headed back to Haleiwa, and on our way back we found a little marketplace with cute shops where you find the most random(yet fitting) trinkets and knick knacks for souvenirs. There were also some art galleries and a couple well known shops like Rip Curl or Quicksilver. We did manage to find a wonderful little coffee shop in that place called the Coffee Gallery. Now I've had some good coffee but no lie this had to have been the best coffee I have ever had! Screw Starbucks! Haha! Rob ordered for me and we both got some iced vanilla lattes. Now I don't know about you but for some reason when I get these drinks I don't usually taste any coffee. The coffee is somewhat masked by all the random syrups and creamer put into the drinks. However, this coffee was so wonderful and so rich with flavor! My mouth is seriously watering just thinking about it! The coffee blend they used was a special in house brand, I wish I had bought some but they really were quite expensive for a little bag of coffee. But honestly I would definitely go back for more! I did manage to get a picture of this wonderful little place for you, along with a hysterical sign concerning unattended children. LOL Sorry about the picture quality, these were taken with my phone.

Well I hope you guys enjoyed yourselves today, but I'm off. Peace Out!
